FIRE
SAFETY CERTIFICATE INFORMATION (TB603)
All
Supreme memory foam mattresses are
manufactured to the stringent
requirements of California's new
fire safety test known as Technical
Bulletin 603 (TB 603) Approved,
Effective January 1, 2005.
California is the first in the
nation to approve such a safety
regulation. At Supremebeds.com we
say,
It's about time! Safety is
always of the utmost importance. Now
even lesser quality beds that have
been known to be invariably
dangerous must improve and keep up
or get out of the business.
The
true reason we are so proud of our
mattresses adhering to the TB603, is
because we believe in providing the
absolute best memory foam products
for you.
This
means that a mattress you purchase
from SupremeBeds.com is one of the
safest sleeping systems you can buy.
You are certain to sleep better
knowing you are sleeping on not only
the highest quality memory foam
mattress ? but the safest one as
well!
To
Consumers: Safer Bedding! Under
the new fire safety flammability
act, mattresses will have a much
slower burn time which will allow
it's occupants a greater time to get
themselves to safety. Overall, the
number of mattress fire related
deaths will likely drop
dramatically.
To
Retailers: Retailers will have
the responsibility of making sure
that the mattresses they buy are not
only tagged correctly, but that they
meet fire safety - TB603. The best
way is to buy from reputable
vendors. The retailers will be the
first to catch the "heat" if a
consumer receives a fraudulent
product and takes the right measures
to complain about it.
To
Manufacturers: The new fire
safety flammability law has mattress
component suppliers scrambling to
offer components that comply with
TB603 and well as the manufacturers
who have to ensure that every
mattress they make starting Jan. 1,
2005 will comply with the new law.
Manufacturers will also be on their
honor that the mattresses aren't
only labeled with the new law label,
but that they actually meet the
requirements.
